Disaster Ready Kits: Planning Ahead

Our client Promotion Products sent out sample packs with 10x eco products to councils all around Queensland and other states. Burke Shire Council received a pack & called them to enquire about some items for some DISASTER READY kits they’re putting together.

The products they ordered for the kits included a Stationery Set, Calico Bag, Document Folder, Notebook & Pouch. These handy and practical items can be packed & ready to go whenever the unexpected happens. Burke Shire Council were purposeful with the colour of the bags & folders, so they would stand out.

Following this order, the City of Moreton Bay Disaster Ready Team also contacted Promotion Products regarding the supply of a similar setup.

Small Business: Big Opportunity

Lime Hub is a digital and design agency based in Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne, and has recently been accepted onto the Federal Panel: Provision of Creative and Digital Communication Services (a very difficult and competitive panel to engage). This achievement opens up a broad range of lucrative opportunities for Lime Hub to work with Government departments.

City Council engages Local Manufacturer

Brisbane City Council engaged Brendale based Metallon for the production of “Man A69 Driver Barrier Extension Frames”. The Department of Transport for Brisbane, Fleet Management Services contracted Metallon a couple of months ago for production and has since initiated a second production line for “Volvo Full Driver Barrier Frames”.

Well done to the team at Metallon! A fantastic opportunity that will definitely deliver significant long-term value.
